Rack Solutions
Factory-built, field-ready, accepted before it ships.
PrecisionX integrates the compute, network, out-of-band and power that PrecisionDCOS runs on into tested rack solutions. Reference profiles are a starting point — final sizing is benchmark-driven and order-specific.
An integrated rack, not a parts list
Servers, switching, independent out-of-band and dual power paths arrive integrated, cabled, labeled and documented.

- Rack-integrated NX compute and site network fabric
- Independent out-of-band management and console access
- A/B power distribution with dual failure domains
- Structured cabling, labeling and as-built documentation
- Signed image baseline and controlled firmware levels
- Optional Field enclosures and site gateways pre-staged
NX reference profiles
Four validated starting points for NX nodes. Every profile is a reference — never a fixed SKU.

Best for: Campus or regional aggregation after benchmark validation
Sizing is benchmark-driven
Final sizing is based on active items, values per second, API cost, event rate, history, users, reports, collector duties, surviving-node load and order-specific benchmark results.
Common hardware requirements
Every NX node — regardless of profile — meets the same enterprise-grade baseline.
- Enterprise server platform
- Dedicated BMC
- UEFI Secure Boot and TPM where supported
- ECC memory
- Enterprise NVMe/SSD with published endurance
- Protected boot
- RAID or protected data tier
- Dual hot-plug PSUs
- Independent rack power paths for Standard
- Protected management and OOB
- Multiple 10/25/100 GbE interfaces as required
- Signed image and controlled firmware baseline
- External backup
- Hardware and software self-monitoring
Field enclosure variants
PrecisionDCMS Field runtimes ship in enclosures rated for the environment they operate in.
Indoor Type 12 / IP54 class
Gasketed Type 4 / IP66 class
Corrosion-resistant Type 4X class
Rack-mounted or rack-adjacent
Freestanding, skid-integrated or project-specific
Factory acceptance before it ships
Hardware is assembled, imaged, tested and documented under FAT before it leaves — then verified on site under SAT.
Tested and accepted, not just delivered
Every rack solution is functionally tested, its firmware baseline locked and its as-built documentation completed under a Factory Acceptance Test. On arrival, a Site Acceptance Test verifies power, network, out-of-band reachability and monitoring before the site is declared operational.
